An open letter to The Bangalore Torpedo a.k.a gutless mofo
maga BT, The stuff you have written on your blog and bias about Kannada movies is hilarious! Probably you were trying to come up with an enlightening piece of creative writing and it has backfired and went up the holes you never imagined existed. Surprised? Don't be because shit like this happens when you have an agenda and present it an utterly crass language and not think about covering your ass in the process.
The original piece you wrote in Bangalore Bias makes a terrible terrible reading that I wouldn't even use to wipe my ass with. Your prejudice and predisposition and agenda are on full display.
The hyped, made up and "projected" numbers don't make a movie successful. If that was the case and if Shivaji were to make anywhere near the "hyped" numbers, all the other movies of your excuse-for-a-hero would be non-successes or to steal from your fantastic vocabulary "semi-successes".
You say dwindling number of Kannada movie fans! Only an idiot like you can say that and that too after the recent huge successes. You probably also have no idea that they screen Kannada movies outside Karnataka and India.

Subsidy/less tax for an industry is at the discretion of the government on whether it wants to support an industry. Airbus gets subsidy in EU, Boeing, Wal-Mart and zillion other entities in US, our in farmers in India get subsidies, so does our Steel and Textile industries. Why point out something only in this case? What did you have to say about Infosys when they got their hundreds of acres of land on subsidized prices? Yak sisya, ninna hottege bantha? And your line on Supreme Court decision on Karnataka over other movie taxes is completely FALSE.
